Honestly, I cannot understand the people that keep talking about how much of a nuisance legendaries are - as a hardcore 10-man player, I'd kill to be able to have my raid have a legendary. Sadly, Blizz still thinks 10-man are the ugly stepsister raid, so we don't even get the chance of building these weapons. I'd be ok if the 10-man legendaries were lower ilvl than the 25-man ones, thus keeping the balance the same - I just want to experience the quests, the lore, and yes, the satisfaction of building more legendaries.

While I agree, I imagine Blizzard probably looks at the complications of what happens if they make legendaries accessible on both progression paths. There's definitely raids out there that would run both 10 and 25 whatever in hopes of building that legendary even faster. So, do you make it a different drop? Do you make a "lesser" version of the weapon? I want 10m raiding to be just as viable for progression as 25m, but until Blizzard comes up with a solution that keeps 25m groups from looking at 10m as "easy mode for free upgrades," we'll have that disparity. And the lack of legendaries.

Just wait till the really nice person that your guild decided to give the legendary to gquit as soon as he gets it...
