You're absolutely right; it's hard to be an End-Game raiding tank.Truth is, the demand is much lower than the supply. Everyone with a defense cap thinks they're a tank and it's hard to sift through and find those who are credible, know tanking techniques, and are geared enough to be the meatshield for a 25m group. Threat alone will make a tank stand out. An entire 25m raid, in full 245-258 gear will rip aggro off of a rookie tank in a heartbeat...if they even survive the first set of Gormok's Impales.I'm proud to say I'm an End-Game raiding tank. I worked hard for it. If a player is really dedicated to the role, they'll get a spot. Longevity in a guild goes a long way to tanking slot openings and MT roles.
