Late to the party, but: one of the women at Amberstill Ranch must have been okay with having kids, because there's a little girl there.

Still and all, there need to be more kids running around the towns in this game. I'm beginning to wonder why any of the races bother waging war on anything, much less each other, when they're all clearly going to be extinct in about a generation and a half.
