Blizzard has finally released the official trailer for Patch 3.3: Fall of the Lich King. You can view it over on their site right now, or just enjoy it via the YouTube video embedded above. The Blizzard site is extremely slow right now, so we recommend just watching it here.
The trailer sends chills down your spine, especially if you've been paying attention to the lore of Warcraft since the RTS games back in the 90's and early 2000's. It shows a certain very important figure in Arthas' life, letting him know the Fall of the Lich King is bound to take place.

Horrible... why can't they give us something worthwhile? That was mostly boss fight footage with a Terenas voiceover.
/sigh... Ulduar was the highlight of this expansion it seems.

Truth. This wasnt the greatest trailer, but it was good none the less. Makes me pumped to kill that guy! (arthas)

Well I'd post my opinion on the forums, but Blizzard has them "down for maintenance."
I just wish they'd give us something a bit more like the Ulduar trailer. Loregasmic!

Nazgul. Not all trailers need to be full of action. I in fact thought this was better than the Ulduar trailer, just because it shows plain and simple: Arthas has been backed into a corner. And now, there is no place left to run.

The Ulduar trailer had barely any action. The lore it revealed was far more interesting and the trailer was far more visually impressive than this one and the ToC one. Boss fight clips? Bad. Clips of lore-heavy characters developing lore through heated discussion? Good.

You know, [sort of spoilers], since the Lich King no longer has any bits of Arthas in him (from the novel and questline) it would not be entirely impossible, that one of the spirits the -Lich King- has to fight is the paladin and light bearing Arthas. Would be a nice way for him to redeem himself.

No, you're not alone. I've always had a crush on Arthas, moreso after he became the Lich King.
I've always liked the villains, and considering Arthas/Lich King is probably my favourite lore character in the entire game I will actually cry if we kill him. :(
