It's amazing how sometimes someone can post something that seems to agree and disagree with me at the same time.Blod said that the Ashen Verdict made sense due to game mechanics and is the combination of the Argent Crusade and the Knights of the Ebon Blade. Yes, they are a combo of those two and I pointed out that if you were exalted with AC and EB , then WHY wouldn't you still be exalted with them after they officially join forces? Blod agrees it's for game mechanics but then disagree's it doesn't follow lore. Not everyone would be exalted with both, so they would still have something to work for. Those that ARE exalted with both SHOULD be rewarded for their previous hard work. The blood/high elf comments blod makes shows he is unfamiliar with the lore. Blood Elves ARE High Elves, period. They are not like Night Elves which are distant cousins. Get any CSI in there and DNA would show that the are the Exact Same Elf. Kael'thas just did a name change, that is all. There were a few of them in hinterlands, left kinda to rot and pro-alliance since that is where they were last. A few more in plaguelands at the ranger lodge. However, throughout vanilla and BC WoW, there was only ONE official "high elf" and that was an npc in the allurian stronghold in tero. You could rationalize a single high elf not being blood elf, as in magically-addicted, by saying she came throught the portal 20 years ago and never felt the sunwell "die".Saying that Blizzard cares about the lore then saying they can change it however they see fit is ridiculous. Ask anyone what is the #1 thing that makes a good RPG and they will say "the story". WoW started with a good one and then just keeps making wild zigs and zags. Soon Alliance are getting "good" worgen that aren't Those Bad Worgen we been killing for years cuz they "been hiding" south of silverpine. What we just didn't notice them til now? After doing the Scythe of Elune questline any night elf player would probably kill a worgen on sight BUT instead it's the night elves that bring the worgen into the Alliance. Ooookaayyyyy
