But Icecrown Citadel and the Frozen Throne isn't the only thing patch 3.3 brings. We've seen perhaps the most significant revamp to instance running ever with the introduction of cross-server instances in the new Dungeon Finder system. In addition, there have been numerous changes elsewhere in game that players are raving over.
The sheer amount of content is hard for anyone to keep up with, and we've been steadily updating the WoW.com Guide to Patch 3.3 with everything we've written about the patch (over 250 articles now).
As you venture out into this new patch, head back to the guide for everything you need to know. Just watch out for Frostmourne, you don't want it to steal your soul.

can't wait for the servers being overloaded. Luckily i can also play CoD6 when the servers are down/lagging like hell

Exactly. Modern Warfare is an off shoot of the CoD name. It would be like calling the Crystal Chronicles or Tactics games FF 29 or whatever they came out in.

Alright, I can't log in to the main WoW tech support forums, so I wanted to assist people in the next most likely spot they'd look.
If you are experiencing the "Failed to Apply Patch" bug with Windows 7, please follow the instructions below:
1) Go to your WOW folder
2) Right-click on WoW.exe and select properties.
3) Select the Compatibility tab.
4) Check the box next to "Run this program as an administrator" and click OK.
5) Follow steps 2 - 4 for Launcher.exe.
6) Run Launcher.exe
At this point, WoW should begin applying the patch. It took me about 8 minutes to apply the patch, so don't sweat it if it takes longer than usual. Hope this helps some of the people out there.

This is good advice. We're hearing a few reports about this, and once we get some solid confirmation on our end we're going to post this. I have no doubt it's happening, but unfortunately I can't verify it on any of my Win 7 boxes, which is odd.
I'd be surprised if we didn't hear something from Blizzard about this in the next few hours though.

Can someone explain to me in a bit more detail the whole thing with Triumph Badges? There's something that I'm missing. Are they now replacing the Conquest badges completely? Will they now drop off all dungeon/raid bosses?
I get the Frost Badges are going to be in the ICC dungeons and raids, but I'm just not grasping what they're doing with the Triumph Badges.

Triumph badges are dropping from every heroic boss and raid boss now, except from 10-man and 25-man Icecrown Citadel, which will be dropping Emblems of Frost. You can no longer obtain Conquest badges through drops. You can, however, still trade in one Triumph badge for one Conquest badge at the vendor.

Can we trade in Conquest for Triumph if, as you say, we can do it the other way round? I have a few left over that I'm probbaly not going to use as I'm going to be focusing on getting my Mage T9 first so that would give me a little headstart.

@Arednal: I haven't read anything about it, so I'm guessing not. I could be wrong though. If Triumphs are taking over Conquests, though, I'll probably sacrifice a few Triumphs so that I can buy Conquest items and zero out that currency.

Didn't the CD on transmute titanium get dropped? I didn't see it in the official patch notes on the downloader.
