WoW Moviewatch: Ulduar: In the Mountains
While many might say that Ulduar was a difficult, frustrating raid (that as then rendered useless by TotC), one thing is certain about it. Ulduar inspired people. The number of music tracks, videos, and movies inspired by Ulduar blows away any memory of Naxxramas.
Realityshock created Ulduar: In The Mountains as a tribute to the immense amount of work and effort that went into creating the raid. The video is also dedicated to those brave raiders who spent hours pushing their way through the instance, working to see all the art that Blizzard had created for us.
I still enjoy these raid summary videos, since they help convey a sense of what new folks might have missed. Nice job, Realityshock.

The Slashdance vs. Ulduar video is still my favorite Ulduar based creation. Always makes me laugh.

Why the hell people think that the doctor wily theme is equal to the power ranger theme song is beyond me...

"Ulduar blows away any memory of Naxxramas"
The start of the movie made me think about it.
For me it was pretty hyped raid. It was also really great because it was PART of the zone (storm peaks). Naxx, OS was not part of the zone in sense like ulduar was and felt bit empty, not to mention ToC raid... But with 2 (proper unlike toc5) 5mans and 1 raid and whole damn zone Ulduar really felt amazingly epic and im sure if there wasnt zone, 5mans, thorim questline it would feel bit more emptier.
Now same will happen with ICC. ICC is very much part of the zone you quested and you will have proper 5mans to back it up.
Oh Malygos? Well sure.. malygos had 2 5mans and whole island for him with long questline...but eh.. malygos is just.. yeah. Bad.

The Mega Man credit sequence is inspired.

It's a travesty that this great, great raid instance, and full props to Blizz on that, was prematurely overshadowed that is/was the gash fest of TotC.

I really enjoyed Ulduar. It was my first experience with a true progression based guild. I remember the first time I cleared each one of those bosses. It was a special momeny in my WoW history.

I'm not sure what all the music was...but one of the songs made me feel like I was watching Power Rangers...
I seriously was about to get up and shout "GO GO POWER RANGERS!" in the library.

I can't be the only one that heard Megaman music in there.
Okkusenman okkusenman!
I love all the music tidbits in nice, arranged fashion that most people wouldn't catch.

Anyone else getting flashbacks of the movie Labyrinth watching that CGI owl fly around.

Thank god, I thought it was just me. Took a minute or so to put a name to it, but definitely recognized it right away.

Excellent video - the Mega Man end scene was awesome.
It's nice to see something like this summing up what was so cool about Ulduar. I no longer raid, and gs/achievement checking pugs kept me out, so it's nice to be able to see all the interesting stuff I didn't get to see.
It would be nice, later on, if Blizzard could figure out a way to let people who were for one reason or another unable to raid these instances to partake in the scenery, even if it was under the guise of some solo or small-group quests (I'm also thinking of those who never saw Kara and can't find a group to explore it). That would be sweet, in my opinion.

Having never seen Firefighter on Mimiron, all this video left me with was....FIRE!!! D:

If there's filler content before the 4.0 patch, I sure would like the Azure Sanctum opened and a resolution to who the next Aspect of Magic will be, maybe with the raiders helping Kalecgos claim the title somehow.
But yeah, Ulduar > Naxx > Trial, in terms of being inspirational. ICC has a lot to live up to.

Ending Credits = Epic beyond all belief.
The video was awesome though, good stuff, but those credits just brought a smile to my face.
