So not true. Any time I am in one of my horde capitals and I see a lonesome ally, with half HP left, trying to run away from NPC guards, do I put the final nail in his coffin? Even for certain achievements? Never. I know they're there for a reason and I let them do it in peace. But have I ever gotten the same courtesy from alliance? Never. They never shy away from ganking or getting in your face for no other reason than trying to make your wow life as painful as possible. At least on my server.
