Breakfast Topic: What did you do during the patch 3.3 extended downtime?
Few were surprised yesterday when there was extended maintenance due to patch 3.3 being implemented on the live servers. Though I was briefly able to log on and grab a Corehound Pup Pet, otherwise I was at the mercy of the downtime along with everyone else. Here's what I did:
What did you do during the 3.3 extended downtime?
- Caught up in Cafe World -- unfortunately, my food had spoiled.
- Watched the Fall of the Lich King trailer -- more than once.
- Colored with The Spawn -- some of those new Crayola 64 color names are weird.
- Read up on the new Dungeon Finder Guide -- good stuff.

Made random psychology experiments on the "Blizzard and how they deal with ninjas" post"
Which reminds me:
This is the second phase of a small experiment on reverse psychology and human reactions.
Please don't down rate this post.

THIS! After beating my head against the impenetrable instance portal I gave up and played me a story about an Age of Dragons...and there was an origin involved.... and darkspawn...

I was working on compatibility issues with my company's website in IE6.
schmO Dec 9th 2009 10:06AM
Read: stop using IE6
cmichaelcooper Dec 9th 2009 11:34AM
I wish I could, believe me, but when 25% of your revenue comes from customers using IE6 you just can't ignore it like I've tried to for the last... 5 years?

Lol, I spent time learning the Lore of Arthas (I played Warcraft III: Frozen Throne)
Of course, I dont know if there was an extended downtime in EU, I cant play WoW at school (internet filter) but I guess I was playing Warcraft III while the Americans had downtime... =)

I downloaded all of the addons I figured would be broken by the time I got on. To my surprise, it wasn't that many. Whew!

I was one of the lucky ones. At 3 PM Eastern, I was able to log in and start doing pugs with the new LFG interface. People who had issues getting in were able to watch my live stream on Justin.tv where my guild and I proceeded to get Marrowgar to 40% with 18 people + 1 1k dpser. That fight is very lawls-worthy.
Many of us are looking forward to hardmodes
