Patch 3.3 known issues

Some of the issues have been addressed, some haven't.
Blizzard has released the first part of the list of known issues with patch 3.3. It will be expanding in the future, so don't get too upset when you don't see a bug on it. Remember that it typically takes a couple days for a patch to get all its kinks worked out. Just hang tight, enjoy some some lore and trailer action, and things will be fixed before you know it.
The full list of known issues after the break.
Known issues from Eyonix:
General Issues
- Logging out inside a battleground and logging back in after the BG is completed will cause characters to be unable to queue using the Looking for Dungeon System.
- Spamming the Auto Attack button causes the character to play the attack animation even though no actual attack is done.
Dungeons & Raids
- Escape from Durnhold - At the end of the Escape from Durnholde instance Erozion teleports you back to Caverns of Time rather than where you entered the instance from.
- Halls of Reflection - Player will get disconnected when running up the ramp to the ship.
Quests
- Horde players do not receive a parachute when the Kor'kron Troop Transport is destroyed during the quest, "Assault by Air".
Classes
- Druid
- While swimming in Cat form or Travel form players nameplates are clipping through their model.
- Mage
- Mage Summon Water Elemental does not fully function as a permanent pet when glyphed with Glyph of Eternal Water.
- Paladin
- Avenging Wrath and self cast Lay on Hands cannot be used within 30 seconds of each other.
UI
- The dungeon finder visual UI will sometimes display inaccurate class archetype counts.
- The group "guide" is called "Party Leader" in chat.
Patch 3.3 is the last major patch of Wrath of the Lich King. With the new Icecrown Citadel 5-man dungeons and 10/25-man raid arriving soon, patch 3.3 will deal the final blow to Arthas. WoW.com's Guide to Patch 3.3 will keep you updated with all the latest patch news.Filed under: Bugs, News items, Wrath of the Lich King

Yeah... tried Halls of Reflection many times... no success in staying on. Chat channels still worked though.

This has nothing to do with the above comment, but everything to do with this post.
--> Are any other rogues experiencing a lack of "poison application" sound effects during combat?
I can hear my daggers zing-zing-zinging away, and I hear ability sound effects like Cheap Shot and Eviscerate, for instance, but poison procs have no sound.
I've checked and double checked all my in game sound settings.
odd :(
Continuum6 Dec 9th 2009 3:35AM
lol. really? downrated for asking if anyone else has experienced a potential rogue bug?
.... in a "known bugs" article comment section?
wow you poeple really need lives.
If you have experienced the bug, then please respond.
If you haven't, or even think i'm crazy, then feel free to continue on about your night. Nothing for you to see here.
But downrating? just.... weird. Hope the people reading the bug report official forums are more sane. Catch y'all on the flip side of tomorrow. Shutting down the rig for the night. I think a few of you should emulate.
lol I was like, "Downrated?! How does that even apply, I wasn't trolling or something. *sigh* w/e"
Phaea Dec 9th 2009 3:59AM
You were downrated for hijacking someone else's comment just to get your comment higher.
Faar Dec 9th 2009 4:10AM
Continuum,
You get downrated because you reply to the first post with an irrelevant issue just so your reply will show up at the top of the page. "Trolling" isn't exactly the right word for it, but it's damn close anyway.
Next time, make your own post or reply to a post describing the problem you're having instead of leeching off of another poster like you did here. Oh, and also, don't act all innocent and surprised when you get called out for your asshattery, as if you didn't know beforehand what you were doing... :D
And just FYI, Euro realms are still down for maintenance so I am unable to verify wether there's a problem with rogue poison sound effects or not.

That halls of Reflection bug was really annoying, my entire party dropped and couldn't get back in for like an hour, heh.
Oh well, I'll try again once they fix it. The instance is pretty fun.

Before walking up the ramp to collect your rewards in Halls of Reflection, have your friendly priest in your group cast levitate on you. This allows you to skip the touch of the magical DC-inducing wood the ramp is apparently made out of to stop Arthas from walking up it, allowing you to receive your loot. No priest in your group? Well, your out of luck. A side note, once your on the ship, you can't get back off it. so plan well....
Disclaimer: This worked for me and 2 other priests I know, YMMV.
Clbull Dec 9th 2009 7:58AM
@Continuum6 - No, downvoted for an unrelated offtopic reply.
DJones Dec 9th 2009 9:37AM
Yeah, same here on Altar of Storms. We couldn't (and still can't) zone in to any instance (new or old) or battleground. I haven't really heard or seen anything about their addressing the issue. It was kind of sad to see so many players just sitting out by the summoning stones of the raid and the 5man dungeon. It was like they would pick someone and they would try to zone in. Then, they would watch as that person spent the next 15minutes stuck at a load screen or getting kicked out of the game entirely.
Is there any official news concerning this issue and when they expect to have it "fixed".
I did get a change to watch some Fraggle Rock though.

Thank you for an actual reply with words and reason, to those who repsonded about the downrating. I really do appreciate the effort to enlighten me.
Honestly, I don't post here often and stuck my question about the potential bug high up in the comments because I have an IQ above 70 and can understand that more people will read my comment faster if it is one of the first things they see when scrolling through the comments.
I wasn't trying to "hijack" someone else's comment in any maliscious sense, and the accusation of "asshattery" is frankly, offbase.
I appollogize for any offense I have given, as that was not my intention.
However, mayhap you all should consider how ridiculous this all is? I wasn't aware that trying to get responses from a large number of people regarding a potential bug is tantamount to doing your mom, or sodomising your favorite dog.

@Phaea, Faar, Clbull: Gimme a list of internet blog rules that we can all follow, & the punishment due for failing to follow said rules please. Oh, and who is the governing body over the internet?
Oh yeah, go ahead and down rate this 'TO THE GROUND, BABY'
Continuum6 Dec 9th 2009 11:26AM
Thank you, Hates.
I'm glad someone else see's this situation in the same light that I do.
xD Yay i'm not crazy!
danielmattson Dec 9th 2009 11:38AM
Is it possible to blink past the ramp?
Continuum6 Dec 9th 2009 11:36AM
P.S.
I guess game downtime and excessive bugs flush all of the Kings of the Internet (a.k.a. trolls) out into the blogs and forums.

I'm sorry I stepped on all of your pale, white, hot-pocket-consuming toes. Sheesh.
Oh yeah, and I found out that many people are having trouble with poison SFX, so I won't be checking this thread anymore.
Sorry, but you'll just have to troll someone else now. The delicately crafted rebuttals and scoffing, scathing critiques of my noobish self will fall on deaf ears, as I'll be anywhere but this comment section. Very entertaining tho, thx for the laughs.
cantlogin Dec 9th 2009 12:00PM
@Continuum6: Champ, no one's trolling but you.
LilBanshee Dec 9th 2009 12:04PM
Continuum, I hate to break it to you but you are the troll in this case, not them. Referring to you as a troll doesn't have anything to do with whether you are right or wrong about your points of discussion, so restating your points again or wailing about your mistreatment doesn't help your case. Trolling isn't about content it's about how you present yourself. Right now, you are presenting yourself not as a rational informed participant in the discussion but rather as a petulant child.
EZ Dec 9th 2009 1:44PM
yikes... this place is getting worse than youtube comments.
Kakistocracy Dec 9th 2009 2:51PM
My party didn't get past the waves in Halls of Reflection, we survived the insane lag, but the constant crashes were too much, but I imagine that's more an overuse triggered problem then a bug which will need to be addressed.
mike Dec 9th 2009 3:08PM
@danielmattson
No blinking does not work.
Blinking at the foot of the stairs = you stay in the same spot.
Running up and blinking = DC, plus gets you stuck on the second step
Jumping forward and blinking = lands you back at the foot of the stairs
All in all, a very frustrating 40 minutes.
I wonder if the ship itself is bugged, because if it isn't you could actually get up there.
Before you DC you have a 1-2sec window to take a few steps. Few steps --> DC --> Relog --> Few steps --> DC --> Relog etc. Rinse and repeat til you get to the boat.
Mister Bitters Dec 9th 2009 3:23PM
If you are having problems getting up the ramp to get your loot on the ship, walk up the ramp backwards. I know someone said something about a priest and levitate, but if you don't have a priest do this instead. It worked for my group about 30 min ago.
