In-game fixes for December 9th

- Running up the ramp at the end of the 3rd encounter in Halls of Reflection will no longer disconnect players.
- Onyxia has settled down and is once again killable and flying in the proper areas during phase 2.
- Bosses no longer respawn in the new Frozen Halls 5 player dungeon after being defeated.
- Icetouched Earthragers casting Avalanche now deals appropriate damage.
- The quest "Keeping the Enemy at Bay" is now completable.
- Totems are no longer targeted by chain effects as intended.
- The Death Knight chest piece, Scourgelord Chestguard, has been updated to reflect appropriate tanking statistics.
- Emblem of Triumph quartermasters now exchanges one Emblem of Conquest for one Emblem of Triumph.
- The NPC Usuri Brightcoin in Dalaran now exchanges one Emblem of Triumph for one Emblem of Frost.
- Scourgelord Tyrannus now heals to full when the encounter begins.
- The chance for epic items to drop off trash mobs in the Icecrown Citadel raid dungeons has been reduced.
- The chance for epic items to drop off trash mobs in the Frozen Halls 5 player dungeons has been reduced.
- Trading soulbound items will no longer make them appear as lost.
- Improved Counterspell now triggers Burning Determination as intended.
- The Call to Arms: Warsong Gulch daily quest is now properly offered to players of all levels.
- The quest "No Mercy for the Merciless" can now be completed as intended.

Someone says they'll exchange [A] for [B]. It means you give them [B] and you get [A].
It's correct the way it's written. It's Frost -> Triumph and Triumph -> Conquest.

Please clarify, it's Conquest->Triumph and Triumph->Frost or Triumph->Conquest and Frost->Triumph?

It's Bornakk's wording. He means you can trade the bigger emblem down to the smaller emblem.

It is worded funny, if you change the wording to something familiar like the water example below you'd see...
Bottle of Water quartermasters now exchanges $5.00 for one Bottle of Water.
Wouldn't he exchange a bottle of water for $5.00?
Bottle of Water quartermasters now exchange Bottle of Water for $5.00.
Sounds better to me...

To avoid confusion, maybe in future it should be:
Emblem of Zomggear Quartermasters now trade 1 [Emblem of Zomggear] *in return for* 1 [Emblem of Lessergear].

cuz it's really that difficult to use a shred of common sense and not think that you're going to get something so easily? anyone else not pay attention to the wording and immediately know what is being talked about anyway? yes you can exchange the emblems down. all it's saying is that the eot vendor now will exchange down because he wouldn't before - you'd have to go to the currency exchanger in the sewers. not a complicated concept...

It may be worded strangely, but its actually worded correctly. Took me a second as well, but if you go to the store, they would give you one case of water for $5.00 (for example). Similarly, the vendors will trade you one of their emblems of Conquest for one of your emblems of Trumph, or one of their Triumph for one of your Frost, etc.
Make more sense when its worded that way? I hope so, at least.

The problem is that people are mentally conflating "exchanges [item] for [item]" with "sells [item] for [price]." It's phrased really terribly.
