I've been using the random system exactly once per day, since Bliz is bribing me to do so with Frost Emblems and (eventually) a pet. I have to admit that it hasn't been as bad as I've been expecting, but one thing is really sticking in my craw: the loot.I understand that Bliz doesn't want cross-realm items to be tradeable, and they probably figured that random rolling was the fairest and quickest way to hand out everything, but it honestly annoys me to see one person walk away with three Dream Shards from a single run because they got good DE rolls. If the idea is to make it so everyone gets enchanting mats, it seems kinda silly to leave it up to the Dice Gods.Unfortunately, barring some "You got a shard, it's other peoples' turn" feature built into the default loot UI, there's not really much you can do, particularly if it's the tank or healer that's Hoovering up the shards. The whole point of the system is make the process as easy and streamlined as possible, and introducing a bunch of loot rules will slow things down if it's base UI, and probably get you votekicked if you're saying "Hey, let's not be greedy asshats."
