DK Tank perspective of the 3 new 5 mans. Moderate gear not topline stuff but I keep it up to a degree and know howto tank as I also tanked a warrior in vanilla/BC.Ran them initially on heroic with some folks I normally pug with, made it through the FoS alright as it was easy once I picked up what did what. PoS was bit of a pain not knowing what did what at first and the clustering up the hill towards the cave. HoR used a strategy one mentioned i guess in a earlier run, epic fail couldn't get past the 3rd wave. Healer constantly oom. So they bailed without giving it another shot. Thought about what was wrong and basically the healer was the only clothie so no replenishment kicked in hence the oom. Reran them the next night through the dungeon finder so just went what was given. Made it through easily PoS and a bit of a problem with HoR at first so one dps dropped and had another pulled in. Made it through on the 3rd attempt of the waves. Only had a problem in HoR picking up what popped each wave as they were hard to see at first. Would help if besides the number of waves done/remaining it showed how many left per wave. Reran them on normal to finish my hilt quest portions off after that and after doing those wished i ran the regulars first to get a feel of the encounters. But I love the dungeon finder system. hardly wait for a group as a tank, imagine it will be the same once i start my priest through.
