Damage/Speed: 281-519 / 2.80 (143.1 DPS)
Attributes:
- +81 Stamina, +81 Intellect.
- Improves crit rating by 114, haste rating by 93, and spell power by a nice 487. That's definitely not Trial of the Crusader levels, but for a normal 5-man drop, that's not too shabby.
- Does look cool, though. And the name is just something that sounds cool, though it does make me think of one of the best sites on the Internet.
Getting Rid of It: Sells back to vendors for 27g 43s 88c, and disenchants into an Abyss Crystal or two. And if you do go raiding, you will be replacing it sooner rather than later.

These instances came at just the right time. I was dreading running H Oculus to try to replace my BoA staff on my mage.
Still haven't found this beauty, but I managed to find the caster sword in HoR so I'm not too upset.

Post secret is the best "depressingly addictive" sites/ books this decade. If you put the book in front of someone you can walk away and when you come back they will have stopped two things 1) smiling 2) interesting in moving. Try it out. It updates every sunday I think.

If you are running Pit of Saron hoping for this staff you might want to check out Engraved Gargoyle Femur (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=50273) especially if you want a single item with +113 hit rating.
It drops from Scourgelord Tyrannus, the last boss in PoS.

Yeah, I got the Femur last night too, right after getting http://www.wowhead.com/?item=49790 off Devourer of Souls on Normal. And so much other mage gear. It was phenomal. :D

You get our staves now (feral druid ones). What you lost in axes, you gained in staves.
