Unless you pull threat with it and don't invis, or run toward the tank; then they may not /shrug.

As having been both a tank and dps (and healer) - this is SO useful.
There are several mobs with 2 casters (or one that the tank can't see to pull). When you're running with, say, a Feral Druid tank - counterspelling the casters so that they run to the tank will let you start your AoE. It also mitigates damage helping the healer.
I was facerolling my way through dps the other day through a PuG but people didn't care because I was giving them strudel and not standing in fire, counterspelling and decursing. :D
