Good piece of advice: If your tank is geared in the appropriate stuff for the instance (not overgeared to the max, meaning: mostly blues), do him a favor: watch the frikkin threat meter and try not to aoe every time there's more than one mob! You'll do the tank a very big favor.

I'd know, I'm trying to gear my tank through random pugs and I'm so glad when people see my gear and adjust accordingly. Those are the fastest runs I do on my tankadin.
