Even if threat does wipe, the warlock's dots will still be chewing away at him as he finishes landing, effectively giving him a 1-2 second headstart on the tank in full burn-mode, as opposed to the ramp-up that they would usually have.

4-manning is pretty much a given unless the tank decides to taunt before it gets to the lock.
