I've had a great time with the new pug system. Got my perky pug in notime it seems.
I had one funny experience tho...
At the start of the instance, the healer priest says "just keep pulling, i can handle it". He's loaded with epics and seems fairly capable. The pala tank on the other hand seems a bit unsure, both in how to pull and where to go. I must confess i now wonder if perhaps he was retri, seeing that he never used that normal prot pala pull spell that i totally forgot the name of. Instead he waits, and waits and waits... and then he runs in and does concecrate.
I faithfully nuke madly anything i think i'm able to kill before it reaches me, which, this being Halls of Stone, was pretty much everything except bosses. Thank god for Mirror Image.
The waiting is killing me tho, a good 2 minute break between any pull.
After 7 packs, i just ask the healer straight out: "if i pull, will you heal me?". And the sweet thing replies "yes ofc". After that the instance went in a blast. I used a bit of Frost Nova, and sometimes Cone of Cold and Blink, and i truely had the time of my life.
I got a tiny bit bold on the bosses, pulling and popping mirror image right of the bat, but the paladin did his job to protect the healer, and he even thanked us all for the group when we were done with that Ironshaper guy.
And so in the end, i would just like to say... with a good healer, mages make PERFECT tanks! ;)
