Around Azeroth: Beyond here lies nothing
Roxzee of <Teen Moo Squad> on Dragonmaw wrote, "I recently discontinued my World of Warcraft account. Before I left the game I decided it would be fun to grant my level 71 Druid epic flight form. After training the spell, I had to get a bird's eye view of my favorite zone in the expansion (and probably in the game) - the Grizzly Hills. After flying around, I found a nice perch and took a few screen shots of Roxzee watching over the forest that I fell in love with not so long ago."
Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see them on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@gmail.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, Val'kyr on mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran. Older screenshots can be found here.

Since it wouldn't be appropriate or productive to ask or assume the reasons behind the account closure, let's just write off that part of your screenshot blurb as an 'unnecessary detail'.
Otherwise, that's quite a good picture setup there. Are you just South of Drak'Tharon Keep? The area to the left suggests you're near Dragonblight's Eastern (river) border, which supports that theory. Using your remaining gold to have some 'alternative' fun seems like a better 'final action' in the game than hoarding (just in case!) or randomly gifting it like most folks do.
In Northrend, moreso than in Outland, the game feels completely different once your character can sail the skies. Your small (but important) memories of the zone you spent hours or days leveling 'grounded' in are pushed to the unlit corners of your memory. You effectively warp the feeling the zone once had, and if you're attentive enough to give the appropriate flight training to your alts, then you'll never quite attain that feeling again. Personally, that's the change in Cataclysm that I'm most worried about.
Whatever you did with your time in-game, and whatever you intend to do now, you ended on a literal high-note. The denizens of the Internet who view this article should easily be able to appreciate that.

Far above the Ravengate,
The spreaded wings of Blashyrkh waits,
Above the roaring depths,
Sits the oath of frost,
On the elder Raventhrone...

I'm sorry to go off topic but Mainman, I have to ask where you got your avatar.
Reboot was a wonderful part of my childhood and seeing Bob portrayed as Dr. Manhattan is incredibly amusing.

Oh, man, I used to live for Reboot when I was a little kid. I heard rumors that they are going to remake it.

@Tairne: It was found afloat in 4chan's boards. Use it elsewhere if you wish.

That picture and it's accompanying blurb makes me feel a little sad, tbh. One day I'll be in the same position, logging off for the last time, and I'm not sure what I'd do with my toons. The thought of that druid sat up in the trees, all on his own for the rest of WoW-time makes me feel a bit lonely. :-/
