Same thing happens if you're in a normal group. The days of having your group leader (whether your group is made up of guildies or what have you) go afk suddenly and then not being able to invite that last person to the group, are now gone. Which is nice because I'll sometimes start up a group of guildies and have one person be finishing a quest or a dungeon or whatever and I'll go make myself a sammich only to come back with guild mates angry at me because I wasn't there to grab the last person. Sure, I could've given somebody else the lead before I left, but sometimes you forget.
