Well for Alliance, all of them force a dismount. Only Exodar I'm not 100% sure about.
Wouldn't seem like balancing in that case.
Bronwyn Dec 15th 2009 1:23AM
@Swift
You get dismounted in Silvermoon, as well.
iamearthlink Dec 15th 2009 2:00PM
lol , noob, you are no longer dismounted upon entering water no mater what faction you are, where you are swimming, or what kind of noodles you eat. Wake up and read the patch notes.

Hmm... This could explain why our one Marrowgar attempt was less than pleasant. HE was smacking me down for a third of my health at a time, and no guys, I'm not that undergeared.
Sky Dec 15th 2009 1:02AM
His saber lash deals 200% of his damage on 10 man which is split among those in front of him. If you had two tanks stacking it wouldnt be dealing much damage.
Also, remember the chill of the throne debuff (20% less dodge). You are getting hit more often which may cause you to believe that you are getting hit harder when your not.
N-train Dec 15th 2009 1:09AM
I'm a DK tank in half 245s and half 232s and I was dropping like a rock, even with the second tank in the rights spot and indestructible potions and all that. We got it down eventually, but it just about gave the healers and tanks a heart attack. With no 25 man ToTc gear (strict 10 man guild) and with a good deal of TOTGC10 pieces I still felt I was getting hit extremely hard.
Colin Dec 15th 2009 2:27AM
Oh, we did have two tanks, equally geared and dropping at the same amount. And yes, CotT does come into effect but looking at the combat logs afterwards I would be dropped by 4 15k hits, one after the other over the course of 7 seconds. They were definitely harder hits then I expected.
I'm in the same position as N-Train, strict 10 man, but I only have one or two pieces of TotGC gear. Still, I'd say I'm at level (or fairly close) and this guy was hitting like a cement truck on crack.
saskiri Dec 15th 2009 2:51AM
Same here. 10 man tanking gear (all triumphed up). Nothing near this dmg in ToC 25. Got hit so hard I forgot which day it was. For us not so imba insane geared guilds, but good enough to progress through 10 man in a steady nice phase, this was a bit over top for the first boss.
For all you others hard core raiders clearing 25 man and hardmodes all over the place, I can imagine it wasnt needed to nerf him.
videvekartuspaan Dec 15th 2009 8:30AM
fully buffed, me ( Pally tank) and the ot (warrior) each had well over 45k health ( i get pretty close to 50k in my stam set)and the ot would get dropped almost instantly after phase 2, even when we were stacked.
Newchron Dec 15th 2009 11:29AM
On my prot warrior I had to bust Shield Wall or Last Stand after his Bladestorm every time of I would drop dead. Four piece T9 and stacking Stamina.
Malarker Dec 15th 2009 12:13AM
Any notice u get emblems of triumph for lvl 70 random instance
Pavel Dec 15th 2009 10:16AM
You get two triumphs and some experience for the first random one you do and just gold and experience afterwards.
LuminousNerd Dec 15th 2009 11:59AM
No Pavel, that's not accurate.
You get 2 emblems of FROST for your first completion, but you get emblems of triumph on every successful subsequent run. Bosses also drop triumph instead of conquest (this wasn't listed on the patch notes, but there is no doubt this is the case on live realms right now). So you're looking at 5-7 triumph badges per instance.
LuminousNerd Dec 15th 2009 12:00PM
Whoops, I missed "level 70", misunderstood, my apologies
dpoyesac Dec 15th 2009 12:12AM
Ah, fixes -- including one to help my brudder's Aff 'lock.
I still have 22 days remaining on my Call Stabled Pet cooldown; maybe we'll get a fix to that before it actually, you know, cools all the way down.
Trem Dec 15th 2009 1:25AM
That bug occurs when you try to summon a pet in a cross-realm instance.
The current fix is to enter an Arena. Seriously, haha.
catharsis80 Dec 15th 2009 10:44AM
Ben Aff'lock?
Reuben Dec 15th 2009 12:14AM
I'm not sure if this was announced before 3.3 hit and I just missed it, or what, but has any Warlock out there noticed that they can now chain soul fire using the Demonology talent that previously reduced its cast and got rid of the soul shard regent? I'm finding that instead of using shadow bolt when a boss is in the red to activate the talent for soul fire, I can now do that and then just keeping spamming soul fire without loosing the effect.
I realize that wasn't very articulate, but I hope it was clear enough.
zweitblom Dec 15th 2009 12:43AM
That was in the patch notes: "Molten Core: Redesigned. This talent now increases the duration of Immolate by 3/6/9 seconds and provides a 4/8/12% chance to gain the Molten Core effect when Corruption deals damage. The Molten Core effect empowers the next 3 Incinerate or Soul Fire spells cast within 15 seconds"
And BTW, it's 'lose', not 'loose' ;-)
Hawk9hb Dec 15th 2009 12:16AM
Not sure why they nerfed Marrow but now I can say we got our kill in 10 man pre-nerf
