one thing that's different, that struck me has weird, is that you can now mount in the Pools of Spirit in Thunder Bluff

Could it be because this was the only portal drop-off area that forced you to dismount upon arrival and they wanted to keep it fairer?I'm not asking to be a jerk; I honestly don't know and was trying to guess. I can't remember all of the capital city portal drop-off locations to be honest, but of the ones I *do* remember, all of them seem to be open areas where you can stay on your mount. TB was the only one I can remember offhand that dismounted you, and it was always a pain in the butt.

Ironforge, Stormwind and Darnassus all dismount you. On Alliance side Exodar is the only portal target area that does not.

Well for Alliance, all of them force a dismount. Only Exodar I'm not 100% sure about. Wouldn't seem like balancing in that case.

@SwiftYou get dismounted in Silvermoon, as well.

lol , noob, you are no longer dismounted upon entering water no mater what faction you are, where you are swimming, or what kind of noodles you eat. Wake up and read the patch notes.
