I have done that very same thing. I wrote a short macro that introduces myself, tells people to be in the right gear/spec for their role, and that dps should keep up and tank should wait for everybody. I've been on too many runs where the tank wants to rush through something and doesn't even wait for the healer.

It takes a tank, a heals, and at least one dps to do anything so I don't know why these tanks are going so crazy all of the sudden.
