Around Azeroth: Been waiting a long time for this
The expansion might be called Wrath of the Lich King, but prior to the most recent patch, he mostly displayed bemusement, irritation and boredom rather than any sort of wrath-like qualities. But he's looking pretty ticked off in this screenshot, snapped with a zoom scope lens in the Halls of Reflection by frequent MVS (most valuable submitter) Valafar of <Hellfire Club> on Exodar. I can't really blame Arthas on this one. Your ex-girlfriend and her pals break into your house, kill your guards, assault your home with a freaking gunship and try to steal all your treasure? I'd be running out there with a sword in my hand and revenge in my heart too.
Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see them on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@gmail.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, Val'kyr on mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran. Older screenshots can be found here.

Stole em off Yoggy most likely. Either that or he found a green of a wandering dragonblight Mob.

why do you have to say it? it's an internet blog, not a life-changing historical document. the fact that such posts are deleted on this blog haven't tipped you off yet that NO ONE LIKES IDIOTS SAYING 'FIRST'?!
Ringo Flinthammer Dec 15th 2009 1:39PM
I'm pretty sure even people who sign historically significant documents don't write "FIRST." If you look on the bottom of the Declaration of Independence, he just signed it "John Hancock."

"I'm pretty sure even people who sign historically significant documents don't write "FIRST." If you look on the bottom of the Declaration of Independence, he just signed it "John Hancock." "
I dunno...he sure did write it all big and fancy. Oh man...I just realized that if John Hancock were alive today he'd totally sign bills, "John Hancock (FIRST!)"

@ (cutaia):
Actually, if I remember right, John Hancock signed the Declaration of Independence in such large writing so that the king could read it without his glasses. I think that's an exact quote, not sure. Either way, it seems that Hancock was making a statement about his dedication to the side he'd chosen, while saying "first!" makes an, erm, less flattering statement about those who say it.
And I don't think he'd write "First!" on his checks. Maybe "John, Hancock, bitch!" though. *grin*

First= downrated comment.
Dag Dec 21st 2009 11:47AM
But of course, the equally irrelevant "First" backlash post gets uprated!
Also, I realize the irony of this (also) equally irrelevant post.

I don't know- that looks a little less like 'wrath' and more like 'Welcome to ICC, where disco lives forever!'
macster Dec 15th 2009 11:49AM
At first I was afraid, I was putrified...
Aggrajag Dec 15th 2009 11:57AM
@macster: 10 Internets for your excellent pun, it proper made me laugh.

"I'd be running out there with a sword in my hand and revenge in my heart too."
If you were Arthas, then you wouldn't. He kinda tossed his heart down a hole, remember? Then some paladin or something slashed at it with some sorta Bringer of Soot and destroyed it.

"...Your ex-girlfriend and her pals break into your house..."
Wait, did Prince Arthas Menethil have a fling with Sylvanas Windrunner?
I didn't think so. ;)
dillene Dec 15th 2009 10:44AM
That fling will be retconned into lore after the next expansion.
osg93 Dec 15th 2009 10:50AM
Not all players are horde ;)
earthexile Dec 15th 2009 11:02AM
Lore says he 'corrupted her', body and soul. Who knows what happened in his lair?
Numb Dec 15th 2009 11:19AM
"Not all players are horde ;)"
Just the good ones.
