Not sure I like this change, to be honest. I was prepared to farm for the hilt, but even though the chance for it to drop may have increased it still doesn't help my odds. In fact, I think it worsens them. If I were to solo farm the slaves I know I would eventually get it. But now I have to pray not only that it drops while I'm doing a once-a-day heroic, but that I win the roll against 4 other players. And you know they'll all roll because the damn item isn't even BoP/unique!

Kurt, that isnt the point, greedy people who have had one already will go get another one so they can make gold, many people, incluing myself see that as very unfair.

They won't necessarily be needing to sell it. Since it isn't BoP you can give it to your other toons too. I got one the first night on my shaman healer, but since she has the 245 mace from ToC anyway, I sent it over to my main, a mage. If my mage saw one now, she'd still want it for either my priest or paladin.

To take it when someone in the group may not even have it is BS. You want one for your mage, play your mage through the instance. Unless everyone has one on their main already of course.
