We know from the armory that it was 2%.

Wrong...

The armory lists anything with a 2% or lower drop rate as a generic 1-2%... If you don't believe me then look up the Hyacinth Macaw item which has been long confirmed to be a .01% drop rate and yet the armory says its 1-2%...

In all probability the Battered Hilt drop rate was .1% after the nerf... and now it will probably be more like 1% to match the other bop epics... too bad they took away solo farming...
