I've got a couple of questions.

First, I got my battered hilt on Tuesday the 15th after maintenance, off of an undead slave in the Pit of Saron. How is that possible with what you've just said?

Next, i think WoW armory says the drop rates for the battered hilt to be 1-2%, but that might just be generic for as low as it can go.
