WoW Moviewatch: Meet Me in Azeroth

Meet Me in Azeroth probably doesn't qualify as machinima, but is still fantastic viewing for WoW Moviewatch. This video features a pair of guys rocking out to how much they prefer Azeroth to the doldrums of real life. I'm forced to agree with the sentiment, even if the musical style isn't quite my taste.
The video is clearly meant to be comedy and parody, so I totally forgive their heavy use of auto-tune. Hell, I might even have auto-tuned it a bit more thoroughly. I think the style has shown to be very effective for this kind of tongue-in-cheek humor before, and it totally had its place here.
The lyrics of the video do a good job of speaking to the universal WoW experience. They also manage to give some shout-outs to certain factions among the community. For example, they poke fun at a desire to return to "ye olden days of WoW," back before Burning Crusade even came out.
Ultimately, it was a fun video, and I give the chaps a tip of the hat.

This was a pretty good video. I really enjoy it, and I totally understand this guys... I'm at work right now, and I just wanna leave my PC and go take my car, drive home and play some Random Dungeons. =P

The wrong reasons are still the right ones. They aren't taking it seriously, I'm sure :)

Autotune is available on a 10 day demo from http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/Auto_Tune/ after the demo licensing costs US$399 or so depending on the version.
Be aware though that it is a plug in for programs like ableton live, nuendo, cubase and the like and not a stand-alone program.

Every time I read one of these I seem to read "Even if the music isn't to my taste" or something similar. Tell me what music you like and I shall craft a machinima either mocking you for it or praising you for it in my own special way and somehow get it featured here.

That video has caught it in a nutshell what the game is about for me: meeting awesome people and having fun with them. People I would have never met otherwise. I am learning more about other ways of life and other countries (European here) than I ever did at school.

Loved the song, didn't care much for the video.
I'm not embarrassed to say I love this game, and the people I've come to know through it. But then, I've got kids older than anyone in this video, so being able to say "I'm a Warcraft-loving Geek" with a straight face may be something that only comes with...age.
