No kidding. I would love to do some more rep runs of Outland heroics without having to advertise for an hour.

it prevents you from going there as a random, but it doesn't prevent you from queuing up for all the instances you could possibly want to do and then doing your argent dailies, crafting dailies, farming gathering profession mats, or annoying the people on your server by talking about politics on trade chat, all while the lfg tool does the work for you. just tell it where you want to go and then forget about it. then out of the blue the ready check will come up and your group is waiting for you. much, much better than how it used to be.

@tatsumasa no, you still can't queue for anything too far below your level, that's the problem.
I myself have been waiting months for an Auchenai Crypts run, but alas.

it would be great to queue for old dungeons, like stocks, or RFC where, if you queue up on pinging 15 and get wailing caverns you'll be at the upper edge of rfc's availablity when you're done with that, no RFC for you.

I wish they fix that in the next patch, now it's getting harder to find a group for farming BC reps.

If the problem is that they don't want us to spoil the progress of people on lower levels, they could just make a different branch that only requires 3 people for normal and 4 for heroic.

And they could also add a Looking For People feature to do elite missions.
