I've found it easier to find groups the lesser geared my character is. My fresh 80 Enh Shaman gets a pop for a group in sometimes less than a minute-whereas I generally wait 10-15 for my t9+ Hunter. Has anyone else had this experience?

Same here. Fresh 80 Pally tank gets an instance in like 5 seconds. But my T9 Rogue takes at the very least 15 minutes. (Then my tank gets booted b/c her health pool "is kinda low"... go figure.)

Comparing a tank isnt really a googd comparison considering a tank has a 2sec wait time at max for everything since they are in high demand.

Might it be because your pally is a tank and your rogue is not? My Pally and Lock are both t8 or so and my lock needs 5-10 minutes whereas my pally (prot/ret) needs 5-10 seconds...
