I thought the new looking for group tool would put you in groups with people of similar gear?

I don't have any evidence beyond personal experience. Most of the groups I get with LFG are (at worst) competent, and usually more of the Silent and Deadly Brutally Efficient type. My character is very well geared and it seems most of my group mates end up being quite well geared as well, even when we get things like the Nexus.

On my DK tank, with mostly blues and greens, everyone i've been matched with has been of comparable gearing. It funny because those runs seem to go much smoother ( though sometimes take longer) than the groups I get into with my much better geared t7.5+ ret pally. I think that has something to do with people being less geared paying more attention and not expecting to just brute force everything.

Now that my DK has gotten quite a few upgrades, I'm starting to run into much better geared DPS, and the "you can't hold aggro" is starting. Ohh well, if you really have that much of a problem with my abilities vote kick me. I'll get another group in 5 seconds.
