The next question is whether, after a certain point, the game ONLY wants you to run the higher level dungeons. I'm closing in on my perky pug pet and fully half of the dungeons I've run have been Oculus, which certainly seems suspicious. (And no, it's not that I'm filling in for idiots who've dropped groups -- that's only happened once. The rest of the time, it's a fresh group.)
