You should mention in your notes about this weapon, that it is currently the BiS hunter ranged weapon in the game, and only the heroic version of this from data-mined items is known to exceed it. That leaves us waiting for 25-man heroic Lich King for any possible drop location of an upgrade. It's nice to see you highlight an actual BiS item, instead of something crappy :D

It's not as great as you think. The main drawback to this weapon is no stat buffs other than 34 agility: no armor pen, no crit, no attack power, no gem slot. The proc is certainly interesting, but the theorycrafting shows that it falls short of being BiS at this time. The heroic version of this bow will be BiS, but until then a heroic Talonstrike or BRK for allys will be better than this bow.

"The heroic version of this bow will be BiS, but until then a heroic Talonstrike or BRK for allys will be better than this bow."Uh... no? The stats off of BRK or H-Talonstrike are only worth about 100-120 DPS; the top-end weapon damage gain on Zod's is worth almost that much to a MM Hunter, and the proc is just gravy, since it procs off of EVERYTHING (even a Chimera-Serpent bloom).

Using femaledwarf.com with full raid buffs and debuffs enabled, then exporting stat values to hunterloot.com, it shows a 50 dps loss. after checking other resoucres it shows a small dps gain, so i will concede that my opinion may be incorrect.

Zeherah is probably modeling it incorrectly, as Shandara was initially. The weapon has absolutely no ICD whatsoever, so it can proc from back to back attacks, proc off of itself, proc multiple times in a Volley, it's insane.
