"The only difference is, in Battlegrounds, group composition isn't as important."
What? Comp is very important. The comp that includes more decent healers WINS. As Alliance I constantly feel the sting that comes form have a 100% DPS team in WSG. Carrying the flag is a nightmare when there is absolutely no one that is going to heal you (don't count on that retadin running beside you, that guy took flash of light off his bar a day he specced ret and took the faceroller's oath).
Conversely, the Horde seem to always have at least 2 or 3 healers in every game. Considering Blizzard decided to balance around arenas and make healers need 2 people to take them down, those 3 healers are essentially worth 6 dps. Don't say "well focus down the healers," I wish we were coordinated enough to do that, but unless I'm playing with a buddy my team never is. Besides...the team with the healers needs no such coordination, do they? They just mill about much like my own team, the only "strategy" they need is to stay in range of their healers.
I think the ultimate WSG team would just be 10 healers. there would be no way in hell one of them would die, they would simply run from one end of the BG to the other with the flag laughing at the other team's dps who are desperately trying to take out the FC, but can't because of the radiant holy and natural energies being lavished upon him by his brethren. They would wear down the enemy FC slowly but surely, then cap.
I can't wait for rated BGs so that glorious dream can come true and Blizzard can realize what a horrible balance mistake they have made creating a world where healers are so secure that they require 2 dps making a concerted effort to kill them.

Yep yep. Trying not to wander too far off-topic, I just want to agree with the above poster -- Ally composition in WSG is so often healer-free. As a rogue I wind up just going on defense in WSG because there's usually no way that I'm going to get that flag more than 50% of the way to our base, and that's with blowing Sprint and Nitro boosts. Meanwhile the DKs and Retpallys who might at least have a shot at being a decent FC are usually found fighting midfield. And it doesn't matter how much I start off every WSG w/ the admonition "don't fight in the middle = win". But this is exactly why we need more people in BGs... oh resto druids and holy priests we need you far more than we need your DPSing cousins.
