Good article. Good communication and delegation is critical with running guilds of any size. There is no way you can possibly do everything. Our guild basically have 4 roles. Raid leading, recruitment, social, and bank. All four are pretty important, with maybe the social officer being the less impt if you are in a raid guild. The bank needs to be cleared on an active basis or else it stagnates and is useless. You will slowly bleed members and without recruitment your guild will die. Figure out what you want to do like Scott said, and delegate and follow up. I know for myself I'm not the best raid lead but am decent at cleaning the bank out.
Lastly be honest with yourself. You have maybe 10ish hours in game, and you are running a guild, and expecting progression raiding, which is a whole other beast from naxx/ulduar etc. Its going to take serious time and work to get people skilled enough to handle raids that they probably even out gear at this point (i'm looking at you, TOC). The best bet is to try to get someone to organize raids, and get a nice website/forum for guild communications, if nothing else for the officers and for raid scheduling. A bit of work now will pay dividends as you are freed up to actually play the game.
