Is that... A picture of a female dwarf that looks genuinely... ATTRACTIVE?

Rilgon Dec 22nd 2009 11:30AM
That's what I was thinking. o_O;

I have never before seen such a cute looking female dwarf. Wow.
The ram is also adorable!
Jawn Dec 22nd 2009 1:33PM
She looks quite close to my female Dwarf. Just the hair colour's not the same. Seems to be a rogue too, just like mine.
Wonder what her name is....
Eternauta Dec 22nd 2009 1:46PM
^This.
I'm out of words.
Raze Dec 22nd 2009 11:15AM
Weird. There's nothing wrong with the way she looks per-say, but beyond the accent there's really no way to know she's a Dwarf by looking at her. I dunno.

Height, haircut, mount?
I think we've got our first red-shirt character.
hadredor Dec 22nd 2009 11:31AM

Radioted Dec 22nd 2009 11:43AM
WTB a sense of perspective, much?
Rin Dec 22nd 2009 12:01PM
yeah a comic that's updated by one page a week should be moving hella fast, right?
Yes, the comics been going for 7 weeks and nothing happened, but how many comics have major things happen in the first 7 pages?
Skittles Dec 22nd 2009 12:23PM
bro, if you don't have anything good to say....then shut up, or at least make your feedback constructive criticism...
Balkam Dec 22nd 2009 1:09PM
He's not wrong, this story isn't going anywhere. It's taken what, two months for the characters to put the cow up to a dare? Don't give me the "building story/characters" bs.
curtisrutland Dec 22nd 2009 1:45PM
This is constructive criticism. This comic is developing at a snail's pace. There have been seven issues so far, and we're literally five minutes into the story.
I love your art style, and I love woweh, but I've pretty much lost interest in this comic because it went nowhere slowly. If you had dumped all of these pages on us all at once, then maybe I wouldn't be getting bored, but why should I wait for another week if it's just going to be another page of set up?
Don't take this as being mean or a jerk; this is honest and constructive criticism. I liked the concept, but you've managed to drag out the introduction and setup so long I just can't care about Byron at all.
@Rin
Lots of comics I've read open with a bang to get you interested, then work in the story building. They work backwards. Give you some action/comedy depending on the goal of the comic, then once you are interested, work in back story and character introduction.

"Give you some action/comedy depending on the goal of the comic, then once you are interested, work in back story and character introduction. "
You mean like the first two in this series?
The reactions to the pacing are interesting. It reminds me of the disappearance from newspapers of the adventure comic strips that ran when I was a kid.
Agony Dec 22nd 2009 4:46PM
Wow, what a surprise. An asshole troll...again!
Frank Dec 22nd 2009 11:31AM
@Raze - the lack of a beard confuses you. ; )
i really really love the soft expressions on the ram!
Andrew R. Dec 22nd 2009 11:38AM
Hadredor it's called a cliffhanger. The idea is to keep you in suspense for the next scene.
Lighten up.
hadredor Dec 22nd 2009 11:57AM
Well yes the suspense would be fine if it felt like the story was progressing. Have the dwarf girl fall into the camp of horde, have them threaten her or something leaving you in suspense, wondering how she'll get out of it. I just find that i want more out of each comic, and maybe thats just because its a weekly thing. I don't think i would have any problem with the pacing of the story if it was updated every 2 or 3 days.
Other than that i love the comic. The look of the characters/scenery is awesome and hot female dwarfs are always a win.
