WoW Moviewatch: Ninja Raiders
Occasionally, you come across a WoW music video parody so perfect in its conception, so ideal in its creation, and so pure in its execution, that after seeing it for the first time, you can only think, "Why did it take this long for it to happen?" In my opinion, Ninja Raiders is one such video.
I first learned of the song Single Ladies via one of my recent obsessions, Glee. So I will admit that some of my undying devotion to Kurt probably warmed me to the song. But I had not yet connected Single Ladies to WoW. So, when I watched Ninja Raiders, it seems like the most perfect, beautiful example of a WoW parody song ever. The creators did a fantastic job, and their interpretation of the tune has been stuck in my head ever since.
The creators did a great job of using the video to augment the song, without taking away from the audience's focus on lyrics. The imagery is spot on, and who doesn't love the references to Hunter Weapons?
Every word is true, my friends. If you liked it, then you should have rolled Need on it.

Better than the original.. then again, over 9000 cats scratching on a chalkboard sounds better than the original to me...
Maybe because I hate pop music...

Great, now I'm gonna hum QQ all day.

I really loved the video. Is THAT good, yes!
On another note: The problem with being like her (the protagoinist of the video) is that the other people will not just QQ. They will /kick you, /ignore you and post on the forums screaming you're a NINJA.
Sometimes it's needed just one post calling you ninja to ruin your reputation in that realm for good. Try getting into a raiding guild after that!

This is a cleaned up version of the original.

This version is a whole lot better though.

If the first time you heard "single ladies" was on Glee, you should probably get out of Azeroth more often...

I was just thinking that. This is the sort of thing that leads to people thinking WoW invented some pop culture reference. If nothing else, how did someone with internet access manage to miss the Justin Timberlake/Andy Samberg SNL parody? The mind sort of boggles.

I love how the vote system is being used to downrate anyone that posts a negative opinion of the video rather than its intended purpose of blocking out trolls and unrelated posts.

I... I... I want to hate it... but I just can't.
I feel so dirty... ^.^

From the singing to the words they were perfect. I was laughing loud.

I felt insulted as a Hunter...
It was good, but I guess I took it to the heart.
PS - Hunters can't use maces. =|

My main is a female draenei hunter...and I loved this video.
Every class has its stereotypes, and the "huntard" stereotype is rolling Need on every weapon that drops (even maces, to vendor). Of course we DON'T all do it. Just like we don't all pull aggro off the tank, send our pets off in search of bosses to pull prematurely, or autoshot all the time. Enough hunter-players do these things to make the lyrics entertaining. True, it probably would have been just as funny with another class playing the ninja part...but I'm happy to see a draenei lady struttin' her stuff, even for the dark side. ;-)
The tune itself is a necessary evil. The only *other* time I've liked it was when Justin Timberlake danced to it on SNL.

Loved the vid, it was definitely spot-on, but I think the Glee version still takes the cake for best use of "Single Ladies."

Love the lyrics, one of the best Ryan Myers parodies for sure, almost as good as Action Bars

Man that was awesome. I'm actually the same with Glee, and Kurt, and finding out about Single Ladies from there, and I'm a teenage girl!
Hehe. This is stuck in my head. I may just be singing it a while.

Best...parody...ever....

Hate the original song but cannot stop listening to this.
Also, does anyone else find it funny that her "backup models" are all traditional female races that are generally used to milk boys for all the loot they're worth? Draenei, blood elf and night elf. Lol.

The video was ok good knock off the Beyonce song, but got repetative. Now I'm sure this will get me downranked but what I really can't stand about this video is it will likely spawn one more ninja'ing r'tard. Ohh I know, "if I liked it I should've rolled need on it" but then I'd just be rolling against Hunter McDbag which shouldn't have been the case to begin with. /rant let the flames BEGIN.
