Dungeon Finder bingo

Tinwhisker sent us this link to a set of entertaining PUG bingo cards on the official forums, made by Cruce of Scarlet Crusade. While I'm not sure I would actually have gotten bingo on any single run, some of the squares have certainly happened in many of my runs:
- A pure DPS class doing triple digit DPS (especially Death Knights; sorry to all the good DKs out there).
- RankWatch. Almost every run.
- Three or more members are "the Patient." I guess it's nice to show that they have some PuG experience, but that just makes egregious failures that much more disappointing.
- Someone starts on a mob the tank hasn't even hit yet. More often than not.
- Melee DPS attacking from the front. It's really not that hard, folks.
One thing I'd add to the list is people protesting that they don't take the game that seriously when you give them advice, like that they might want to put up diseases before using other strikes on their DK. You don't have to break out the spreadsheets, but there's a certain minimum effort to not be letting everyone else in your group down.
What do you guys think of this bingo set? Going to print out a few sheets to keep you entertained during those long, cold dungeon runs? Are there any squares you'd add?

Wow, bingo on every sheet!

Now that I think about it, that's just for the runs I did today...

"(especially Death Knights; sorry to all the good DKs out there)."
DKs aren't a pure DPS class... Hybrids ftw
Sleutel Dec 28th 2009 6:17PM
Glad I'm not the only one who caught that. DKs are indeed hybrids.
Gallifrei Dec 28th 2009 6:20PM
Yeah, definitely seen all of this. Can we get some research done on the extreme lack of tanks while puging? When I go tank I get a group instantly, like literally haven't closed the pug window yet. I can only surmise that this is caused by an
extreme dearth of tanks...not that I'm complaining, just wondering on root cause...

I'll sometimes forget to uncheck tank when hitting the queue since my DPS gear/skill is vastly superior and sometimes I don't want the responsibility, and I'm constantly surprised by how fast a group came up.
Oh, and I'm a DK :P (though haven't had triple-digit DPS since... level 75?)
Ziekara Dec 28th 2009 7:19PM
Yup. That was the first thing that caught my eye too.

Only true "Pure DPS" classes are Warlock, Mage, Rogue and Hunter. All other classes can fulfill at least one more role.
Dart Dec 28th 2009 10:44PM
Mage's double up as vending machines.

Yeah, my first thought was the number of people who think DKs absolutely cannot tank and I just want to scream every time someone says that.

@Gallifrey: From the comments on here, the lack of PUG tanks is because it's the worst job in WoW. You're expected to hold onto aggro no matter what happens - even when the warlock ninja-pulls "to make the run more interesting", even when kill orders are irrelevent because all the DPS are trying to outdo each other, even when the DPS vastly outgear you. And whatever goes wrong, it's *your* fault.
Unsurprisingly, the worst job in WoW is burning out tanks.

This. The number of times I've been in a random pug and either a) one of the dps decides to pull another mob to hurry things up, b) the healer starts saying 'pull more, I can heal this, I heal *insert raid instance here*, or c) the dps just flat out doesn't know WHAT to do.....*sigh*
It's enough to drive a man to quit tanking. But for every 5 of those, there's the few instances that make it worthwhile, like when you see your healer wanding because you're geared and competent enough that they don't HAVE to heal you much.

DKs aren't pure DPS, they can tank, or so I have heard

The elusive DK tank is rarely spotted. If you do spot one, though, it's a real treat!
formercustomer Dec 28th 2009 9:32PM
The few arms warriors and rogues who rerolled Death knight to be Overpowered have either gone back to their mains or refuse to do something as mundane as tanking which does not allot the #1 spot on recount?!
Shocking...

I'm a DK tank and I love it :P
SINisterWyvern Jan 2nd 2010 10:59PM
I love tanking on my DK, that's why i made him
pietrex Dec 28th 2009 6:11PM
It's pretty awesome, I've found quite a few familiar ones. What I'd add is: "someone casts single target buffs instead of group ones for an unknown reason and forgets to refresh them". Or 10 min Kings. God.
Magus Dec 29th 2009 2:55AM
I know I only cast 30 min buffs because...:
A. If the group sucks no sense wasting reagents to rebuff if we wipe off the bat.
B. If we're good, we'll be done in less then 30 min
C. You lose your buffs anyway once your group breaks so save a dime and cast the short buffs besides it's 5 people not like it's a raid.

i have my Rankwatch go off almost every run! surprisingly though, most people dont see it as offensive. They usually thank me. =D thank you addon spotlight =)
