Nice depiction of the Horde from an alliance perspective lol.

Don't you know? All players can understand most NPCs, regardless of faction. No players can understand any other players. All NPCs can understand all players and NPCs unless otherwise stated.

Hey! How come she can understand languages cross-faction? WTB that ability for my dwarf!

^_^;; I'm cheating and using the 'storyteller Babelfish' so everyone can understand everyone. ;3

Well, In lore, everyone can speak common. Just in game, they can't, because... I think the reason can be summed up by people = asshats.

The point of their cheer was lost in translation, of course. Clearly, they were celebrating the upcoming storms of the rain season. ;)
Silly dwarves, jumping to conclusions like that...

Very awesome, that first panel reminded me of Hellsing... don't know why. :S

HA! My favorite page so far! Very very well done!
Swifteye Dec 29th 2009 11:48AM
Lovely and intriguing work as always, Ms. Aarons! :)
I, too, was wondering how the heck that Dwarf managed to understand Orcish (I'm assuming, as that's the default Horde language between their individual races)... but heck, I'll just suspend belief because it makes for a more interesting situation here.
Also, Byron's maniacal grin in the first panel = priceless.
Gruuka's "..." face in the last panel = even more priceless.
ZMES_Matt Dec 29th 2009 11:56AM
Uhh-OHHHHH!

Action Ram: With 80% more Srs Face Action!
Seriously love the last spash, including the little mini rogue panel.
One nitpick though, since all the tusks and teeth in the first panel are showing up white, wouldn't it make sense to have Byron's horns show up white as well? Just curious...
As an overall sidenote, I think I have figured out why Byron is so much 'cuter' that your average male Tauren: He has something of a definitive neck at the top of his body! The whole " I have a head growing out of my chest. Moo." thing has bothered me for as long as I have used the male Tauren model.
Ramble/
It also causes terrible clipping issues with some of the hood-like helms, such as the preist or rogue ones. I certainly hope they fix those issues come Cataclysm. /ramble
