"Just because the Alliance is aligned against the Horde (to some extent) doesn't mean there would be no Alliance otherwise."Okay, that may be the stupidest statement I've ever seen on this site.An alliance is formed to counter an enemy. If there is no enemy, there is no alliance. Every single alliance that has ever existed or ever will exist has some particular enemy whose existence is precisely the cause for the alliance to exist, and said alliance would not exist if not for that enemy. So, yes, there would be no Alliance otherwise.If you disagree, it means you're deeply confused about what the word "alliance" means...
