Around Azeroth: The shadow knows
Nazgűl of <TheHiWay> on Runetotem is still bugging me with his non-standard-character name, but he does know how to take a nice action screenshot. "The poor Scarlet Miner sees only a mining cart, but the shadows never lie," he writes. "A dread Tauren Death Knight hides in secret, waiting for the right moment to strike."
Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see them on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, Val'kyr on mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran. Older screenshots can be found here.

Seems tauren rouges do exist. I knew it was all a Kirin Tor conspiracy to keep us tauren down!
Tokkar Dec 31st 2009 4:59PM
But if rouges exist, what about chartreuses? Or mauves? Dammit, I want cobalts!
MusedMoose Dec 31st 2009 7:04PM
This seems like a good time to point out that I have a (correctly-spelled) rogue named "Moulin."
Nazgûl Dec 31st 2009 10:41AM
For future reference, the û is Alt-0251 =D
(cutaia) Dec 31st 2009 11:44AM
Yeah, but "NazgAlt-0251l" doesn't have the same ring to it...

Alec Baldwin was great in that movie.
Hell, so was Ernest Borgnine.
Actually, pretty much everybody was.
Tokkar Dec 31st 2009 4:57PM
Um...Ernest Borgnine wasn't in "The Shadow".
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111143/fullcredits#cast
Anyway, who here has listened to the radio dramas? Or read the pulp fiction? Show of hands? Anyone? Hello?
Damn, I feel old now.
Tairne Dec 31st 2009 7:21PM
You are completely right, and I am a dumbsh*t.
I meant Peter Boyle.
I have no idea why I thought Ernest Borgnine.
I'm gonna stop posting now.

Why are you bugged by his "non-standard-character name", when the name is properly written with a non-standard character?
It's true that this is the wrong one (should be û instead)... but that's besides the point ;)
Clydtsdk-Rivendare Dec 31st 2009 12:53PM
Because they're ridiculously ornery to type. That's why.

I have a character called Dompérignon, with the accented é because that's how the wine is spelt. That annoys a fair few people. I guess some of us are just anal with spelling our references correctly!
