My question is less "why are we going to these places?" than it is "why are these places bigger and more important than others?" Case in point, the disheveled, long-declined, long-peaked empty husk of a troll empire gets a full-on raid (Zul'Aman), yet the sprawling, continent-wide, active, corrupted, hugely-infested kingdom of spider people under Northrend (Azjol-Nerub) gets two dinky little five-mans, one of which focuses solely on Ulduar foreshadowing? Tirion Fordring's little Ren Faire morale booster gets a full raid (Trial of the Crusader) while the newly-reawakened dominant kingdom of the indigenous people and one of the single biggest threats the player faces from 68-80 only gets a brief glimpse in a pair of five-mans inside only a couple wings of their main castle (Utgarde Keep & Utgarde Pinnacle)? Medivh's abandoned house (Karazhan) gets a full raid while the ENTIRE GNOMISH CAPITAL CITY (Gnomeregan) is just some mid-30s afterthought?
I understand why we're going to these places, it just seems to me that the level of priority placed on some of them as compared to others is, to put it simply, wacky.
