Reminder: Second wing of Icecrown Citadel opens soon

After four weeks of repeatedly storming the citadel, the next wing in Icecrown Citadel should be opening soon. Specifically, the Plagueworks should be available on January 5th. At least, that's what Muradin here said. The screenshot above shows that there are still 28 days remaining even though it was taken this week. I'm not sure if there is a glitch in the Matrix or what. In theory though, we should be breaking through the gates with next week's raid reset. More bosses available, means extra loot and more Emblems of Frost to pick up.

I confess when I saw the name of the trinket I was rather hoping it was a new vanity pet. Wouldn't it just rock to have a jar containing a miniature abomination bobbing along behind you?

Okay, I admit, I skimmed the article, especially once it was short, but I did a double take at: Tiny Abomination in a Jar (Professor Putricide) because I hit my scroll button, I thought that it was Putricide coming back as another boss.

The Black Bruise model is sweet. And I have to agree that the trinket has about the best name ever. Makes me wish trinkets had 3d art.

God...another wing opening? They really need to release the next arena season before the PvErs get full sets of 264 gear, not going to look forward to fighting someone decked out in full T9.

This is no different than any other tier.
They don't allow pvp upgrades before simillar ilvl gear has started to filter among raiders.

No...I just think it's been allowed to "filter" for long enough already! Usually an arena season will be released just a few weeks after a major patch. even MMO Champ said "it's safe to assume that it will be added to the game in a minor patch a few weeks after the release."
It's been a few weeks already...so stfu with the "are you new?" bullshit.

Without looking it up on mmo champion I would think that that quote was before the gated aspect of ICC was announced. I'd love to upgrade my ridiculous pvp set with items I can effortlessly obtain too, but... I would be very surprised if the new season and WG boss make an appearance before at least two more ICC wings open.
