7. Worgen of Stormwind
Okay, so this is the second Worgen movie to make the 2009 highlight reel. Still, the perfect parody song is rare, and Worgen of Stormwind achieves to be both a masterful parody song and a brilliant parody video. It came out around BlizzCon, which was the same time we were all getting so excited about new playable races. Worgen of Stormwind still croons from the safety of my iPod.
8. It's a Hard Gnome Life
I can't believe it's only been a year since Wowcrendor first hit the scene. Not only has he been a prolific creator in 2009, but Wowcrendor has won his fan audience with dedication, responsiveness, and unmitigated hard work. His natural charm and love for WoW has translated into a series of tongue-in-cheek and playful videos throughout the year. I'm listing It's a Hard Gnome Life because it was his first this year, but you really should check out his entire playlist.
9. Nobody Like You
Nobody Like You was a clever idea by NinthBatter. The character's name was Nobody, and he's kind of "like you." Also, in a sort of mangled speech, you can imagine folks screaming "Go away! Nobody like you!" The series features a dozen gags, including a singing Arthas and lovable ghoul. It's been consistently fun throughout the year. My only fear is what might happen to the series with Deathwing swoops across Azeroth for Cataclysm.
