Around Azeroth: When I drink alone, I prefer to be by myself
All right, who ordered the Bloody Bull? Artic sent in this screenshot, which was taken during a Horde incursion into A Hero's Welcome in Dalaran. These attacks have gotten so common that the bartender has figured out exactly what drinks to make to soothe the invaders' bloodlust. Death from Above for the undead, Green and Mean for the orcs, High Jamaican Winds for the troll types, and of course Mind Erasers for the blood elves.
Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see them on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, Val'kyr on mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran. Older screenshots can be found here.

I think the Tauren like "Bloody Bulls", as mentioned in the first line.
Related: I know what I'm serving to my guildmates next time they come over. /rubs hands together in glee

No, I was referring to what was actually being served to him - a cupcake? Um...okayyyyy?
Gnosh Jan 5th 2010 10:23AM
So how do people do this? Just push an assload of people through the door, so the guards take a while to teleport them out?
Ametrine Jan 5th 2010 10:30AM
No idea... but I will say this... mage Invisibility and Blink don't work, despite claims otherwise.
wintermoon Jan 5th 2010 10:39AM
i would say for the photo they are employing the orb of deception
Rin Jan 5th 2010 10:41AM
You can fly into either faction's inn relatively easily if you know what you're doing.
@wintermoon: the orb of deception changes your gear as well.

It's very simple to get in.
Pallies can bubble and walk right in. I do it all the time. Also, they can put Hand of Protection on their party members who can then also just walk right in. :)

I don't think its the orb of deception, that's not the eq you're wearing when you turn into a tauren. Though doing the Quel'Delar quest line I was able to go into the Inn for the horde side of Dalaran, maybe they get to do the same? I'm not sure.

The engineering transporters can also have the side effect of changing the appearance of your character into another race. Gotta love running TK as a Tauren Paladin after porting to Area-52 :D

Last i remembered (I havent played in a while, so it could have been changed), all you have to do it fly about as high as you can through the doorway. There's a small area supposedly that isn't covered by the guards "teleport out" spell. Best bet is to fly quick to the door before you get dismounted. Line yourself straight across from the middle of the doorway as fast as you can, and just fly in.
If you get it once, you'll get it down and youll be able to do it more easily. Again, Im not sure if they fixed it, so I could be wrong. This did work in the past, though...

There's also the warlock summoning portal there. Of course you would think the room would be filled with horde if they were using the portal.

This is my screen shot, yeah we me and the druid in the screenshot flew into the inn making sure not to touch the floor or the top of the door, then you can rez people who die just outside the door of the inn. We summoned our entire guild into the inn, they are upstairs or hidden behind the tauren.
We got a warning off the GM today for it, so a fix is probably incoming.

I've gotten in there multiple times on my priest thanks to levitate havent worked out the trick to get near the battlemasters yet :) nice shot

You can fly into either factions in, simple aim as high as you can at the doorway without running into the top of it. you gotta be quick though. Once inside you wont be ported out unless you get to close to one of the guards.
