Awesome comic as always! And an unexpected turn of events! Of course, if she'd ever played a Horde alt and tried the "Stolen Silver" quest, she would've known to be more wary of those Barrens raptors...

What exactly is the misunderstanding?
Aren't they truly planning to steal Fordragon's shield? They said so pretty plainly in an earlier comic.

The tavern patrons are under the impression that the Horde beat her up and killed her mount. Hence the Nelf saying "She's Dead. Those horrid savages."

Exactly! The misunderstanding I was referring to is the fact that the tavern patrons' responses make it clear that they believe the Horde killed the Dwarf and her mount, while the last panel of the comment makes it clear to the reader that the Dwarf and her mount were actually killed by random Barrens wildlife.
Poor Byron and company... sucks to be given a bad reputation for something horrible that you weren't actually responsible for. :(

Eh, I’d be more willing to blame Byron and his buddies for all the ganking me and my friends have received from horde rogues over the years. The people that dabble in their profession are hardly a blameless lot :P

They were cute, either way. And I'm sure that's the whole point but the X eyes just make the whole thing far more silly than it would be otherwise. The Alliance and their srs bizniz reaction versus the raptors and the X eyes makes it kind of hard to tell what kind of tone you're going far.
That's not necessarily a bad thing, mind you.

You couldn't tell they were raptors? anyone who has played wow anywhere near the barren would kno those are purple/pink raptors.
Also, not sure what you're trying to say about the X eyes.......clearly she is portraying that the toon is dead...its a cartoon, X eyes are basically the standard death look and you can tell thats her style.
