WoW Moviewatch: Nobody Like You, Ep 4
The time has come for the new release of NinthBatter's Nobody Like You, Episode 4. This is somewhat a plot episode for Nobody, separating him from his beloved ghoul Louis and his good friend Dot. He's been called to serve in a dubious duty by the Lich King, and it seems like he's got no choice but to obey. While NinthBatter intended for this to be mostly a gag release, I still think the story progression is pretty interesting.
I really enjoy the Nobody Like You series, because it's light and honest fun. The machinima style and voice-acting are both perfectly suited to the characters, and I feel like Arthas, Nobody, and Dot are getting more and more fleshed out. The introduction of Kel'Thuzad and Anub'arak also holds obvious promise. Honestly, I was surprised to realize that NinthBatter is only on the fourth real episode, because I feel like the whole series has been so very firmly established.

Good watch, it was fun, and had some chuckles.
Really dislike spelling out the pop culture references. A gamer that hasn't seen Highlander doesn't deserve to get it. And the ESB reference would have been ten times funnier if he hadn't said it was coming.

Hehe, Nobody is awesome. Looking forward to the next one.

I had to laugh at that part.

That was my favorite part.
KITTY KITTY KITTY KITTY KITTY KITTY

I like the part where the non-combat pet Kel'Thuzad goes KITTY KITTY KITTY KITTY KITTY.

I found this amateurish and not funny at all. Everyone stepping on each other's lines, unnecessarily pointing out the pop culture references... I just didn't care for it.

Yeaaah, I agree. References shouldn't need to be pointed out, and if they are being pointed out it's probably best not to use that comic sans font? (Nitpicking, yes, but Comic Sans is the most infuriating font ever). It's so quiet. It's awkward humour, if I was laughing at it I wouldn't want to be caught laughing. It's random. It's slow moving. I'm afraid the only highlight to this series, for me, is the singing during the end credits, which is only just bearable but in this episode it was nice.

Another great vid, 9thBatter! The references were great, kinda like a thin layer of chocolet on a bar of vanilla icecream ^_^. Keep up the good work.

Keep up the good work! I was amused by this as usual.

I wasn't too keen on this series, but this was an enjoyable video. But seriously, we know it may seem lame to reference movies left and right and that pointing them out will de-lame them, but it just makes them less funny, to be quite honest.
Other than that, it was quite funny. Loved the Lil' K.T. bit.

Thank you I enjoyed it while at someplace we all have to go to everyday to escape home. Tried not to laugh lest my overseer heard me. I enjoyed the pop culture references.
Now where did I put my giraffe.

kk I won't point out references anymore, I was trying to make fun of how much we use references to other media in comedy. Anyway thanks all that liked it :)
And for those that didn't like it, I want you to listen to me. I'm going to say this again: I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky. I never told anybody to lie, not a single time; never. These allegations are false. And I need to go back to work for the American people. Thank you

.....and that's a reference to Bill Clinton.....
Oops, did I just point out a reference? Damn me, damn me to hell!

I "got" what you were trying to do with the in-your-face explaining of the references, and it added to the humor for me. /shrug
Anyway, best episode yet, IMHO. The interplay between Arthas, Kel and Anub was a *great* addition. Anub's Ringo accent was hilarious. The Jaina references were the best. And L'il K.T. with Mr. BIgglesworth made me LOL. ^_^
But but but the meaningless gargoyle isn't meaningless anymore in this episode! /gasp

He has been making these for half a year and still hasn't improved his editing AT ALL? Like, let's take an example. Notice the funny blue tint the Frostmourne has? That's because of poor chromakeying. The character's don't fit into the world at all. They have no shadows and their colour hasn't been tweaked to fit the surroundings at all. Numerous errors can also be found like the covering female at the beginning, below her was a small line of the background.

The commenting system cut the lower half out so here goes the last part:
And please don't get me started on the repeating of /talk when people are talking!
Overally I hate to see how low effort he puts to the editing. He writes the scripts kinda well, but the editing is just CRAP. He also doesn't remove the background noise from his

Wow (pun, eh?) a lot of people hating on the batman (not a pun, not sure what it's called) today. To each their own opinion, that's what I always say. Well, not all the times, just sometimes. Ok, more like every now and then. Anyhoo.....
I think this was as good as his other vids. Yeah, video may not be spot-on, but it's way better than I could ever hope to do. I think he makes up for it with content via sight-gags, dialogue, and overall humor.
I'd rather watch a funny movie with decent video, as opposed to a graphical cinatematic (not really a real word) epic move, with no story/humor whatsoever.

I agree. This is way better than Avatar. And no, i'm not joking.
