Im sick of a legitimate complaint I have being called "QQ". It is called an opinion, you dont have to agree with it, and, you dont have to respond to it. If I am misstating a fact, please put me in my place. Calling my opinions QQ doe not change my mind one bit.
That being said, I am not happy with the changes proposed to the Rogue class. Yes, I top damage on some fights, but, others, I am near the bottom. In fact, my spec (Muti, HfB) is more of a single target spec. In some fights where I have to switch off the boss, I am at a disadvantage, and, do less damage. I barely show up on trash fights.
I dont know who these rogues are that are doing too much damage, but, for now, I see my damage in line with the other DPS overall along the whole raid time.
Why change things so close to a new expansion? It makes little sense to me.

I'm right there with ya, Mihn. Top of the charts on single target, lacking somewhat on groups. But we all knew this would happen. Can't let a pure DPS class outshine the hybrids or the AoE'ers. Of course, we'll get flamed for our opinions by those who don't understand the Rogue.

^This.
With the Muti, HfB spec, jumping from add to add can really drop our dps. So much so I often switch to combat spec for non-ICC 5-mans because the time it takes to get HfB up and an envenom out, the entire mob is downed and we're already running to the next ;making me reset the entire intro attack again just to get my SnD/HfB up. Yes, rogues can do a TON of damage when we're focused on a single target, that's what the class is about. But the second we're required to jump to multiple targets, wave /goodbye to consistent upper-tier deeps.

Well, Blizzard does have access to a much broader spectrum of data that is much more accurate than your or my anecdotal report based on my individual character's performance. Just because you don't see it based on your gear (and skill?) level doesn't mean that the issue doesn't exist.
I think Ghostcrawler and his team are making every attempt to be balanced. They may not always be successful at it, but they certainly have the intent to balance in 10 dimensions (with another 10 if you include PVP).
