Really? That low? What i have seen myself with my warlock 4piece T9 (one is the 25 man piece) is that I am near the top of the meters (Top 5 in 25 man, Top 2 in 10 man) man and always top in trash. Oh, and I'm giving the whole raid a +360 SP buff every time my demo crits ( which happens more then once per 11 seconds that the buff lasts in part thanks to the 2 piece bonus) Now I do have the crafted ToC bracers, the 75 EoT hat, and just bought the 60 EoF belt (Haste one, was at hit cap) I am still using a ToC 5man ring, boots, and a pvp trinket so my gear has some improvement to be made. But low dps? Time to learn a new spec.......

Banish and fear aren't CC?

Fear is horrible CC for PvE. I play a tank and a lock, and I can tell you that when I'm tanking, I never want to see fear used. Banish, on the other hand, is bar none the best CC in the game...if you're fighting demons or elementals. Which is very, very rare, at least from my experience.

Fear has this lovely tendency to get even more adds pulled on you. It's helpful in the right situations, but those are few and far between.

It's completely true that Locks lack individuality and utility. The only spec that really helps out a raid is demo, and that spec does 75% of the damage our top trees do, which GC admitted are a bit low. And come on, green fire glyph? Please?

Regardless of these unfortunate facts, if you're in T9.5 and only a few slots above the healers class balance isn't your problem bro. I mean I'm not keeping up with mages and rogues and hunters but Jesus, I still do better dps than the ele shaman and the prot warrior. Warlock dps may be low, but on an average fight in T9.5 you should be doing close to 5k. When Blizz says something is a bit low, it's not an excuse for HURR DURR NO WONDUR IM ONLY DOOING 500 DPS IN ILEVEL 300 EPICS.

The strange thing about the warlock situation is that Blizz nerfed Destro dps a bit last patch... And at the time no one was claiming it was too high.

I remember almost exactly one year ago that rogues were making the same complaint during Tier 7 content.
