Two thoughts come to mind here:1) I can understand disliking something of your signifigant other's so much that you try to convince them to get rid of it. To suggest that such a thing is worth ending a marriage over, though, only indicates that either the marriage was weak in the first place or that her priorities are completely mixed up.2) Who the hell calls a news agency about something like this? "Excuse me...I have to find the number for USAToday: My fiancee doesn't ever do the laundry and it's totally newsworthy."

1) Not much happens in Aberdeen.2) It wouldn't be front-page news. Probably about page 10-12.
